J.J Caceria Big Game Hunting Argentina

Argentina is fast becoming one of the premium hunting destinations in the world.
Its wide variety of game animals, enormous expanses of inhabited areas, combined with a surprisingly low cost, makes it a favorite of sportsmen from Europe as well as the United States.
Game animals like Red Stag, Axis and Fallow Deer, Blackbuck Antelope and European wild boar, roam free and grow to amazing trophy size.

There are two hunting areas. On the one hand, we have Buenos Aires, located three-hours from the airport, where we hunt blackbuck, axis deer, fallow deer, feral goat, wild sheep and buffalo. On the other hand, we have La Pampa, located 600km southwest from the international airport of Buenos Aires (only one hour by plane), where we hunt puma, red stag and wildboar.

To hunt in La Pampa, hunters need to fly to Santa Rosa de La Pampa from Buenos Aires. There is an hour drive from the airport to the Estancia, where we will hunt and stay for the night. The red stag rutting season goes from March 15th to April 15th. Thus, the dates are arranged in this way according to the flights, taking into account that the package is made up of 4 full hunting days.

The accommodation is in 7,000 acres Estancia (type of typical Argentine ranch), located inside the hunting areas. It's an open field ranch, with no fences restricting the animals from moving freely. It has 4 bedrooms, all with private bathrooms, American breakfast, lunch and dinner with Argentine barbecue at the estancia.

The field where we hunt is plain, with some hills. We follow the animal throw its rutting in the bush, until we see it, the shots are not longer than 150 meters. It is a very exciting hunting, because you have to use all your senses, with no rush, because the male is always surrounded by very aware females. That makes it difficult to get close to the animal. The times in which he hunt are from dawn until 9 or 10 in the morning, and in the afternoon, from 4 to twilight.
Normally, we will see five or six males a day, or may be more and we will decide which one to shoot. I guarantee 100% success in a beautiful hunting. All my huntings are done with a fair chase.

This hunting is done with dogs to guarantee the hunt. This past season we caught ten pumas, nine of which were hunted with dogs and the other one was caught while we waited for him near the place where they drink water. We usually do close shots for the puma (about 20-25 meters) since the animal senses the presence of the dogs, and when the dogs corner him he usually climbs a tree, so we shoot at the animal while on the tree.
