Road and River Trip
If you want to see more of the Costa Rican country side on your way
to and from Parismina or simply prefer ground transportation to traveling
in a small plane, let us know. We’ll arrange for a modern minivan
to take you from San Jose across the continental divide, through a
major national forest and scenic coffee, banana and chocolate growing
regions, ending up at a working banana plantation where you’ll
board a boat for a thirty minute ride to the lodge. The entire trip
can be arranged on request at the option of the lodge. ( At an additional
charge )
Ocean and Mangrove Kayaking —
Begin at our pier and head up the nearest mangrove. Gliding along
the mangroves will allow you to explore narrow channels and access
a beach where swimming and beach combing remind you what a special
place you are in. On this tour you will have a chance to see egrets,
sandpipers, heron, osprey, pelicans, parrots, macaws, crabs, rays,
turtles, and dolphins.
